WHY CATHOLIC BEGINS OCT. 12TH
Through Baptism, we are called to reach out to others to help improve the quality of life for all. Small Christian communities help us to identify ways to reach out and support us in our efforts. Why Catholic? will give you the opportunity to bring your faith to life so that it truly reflects your love for Christ and the community. During the week of October 12, St. Paulís Parish is offering another session of Why Catholic? focusing on the Sacraments. No prior participation or specialized knowledge is required. Come and explore Catholic teaching with direct quotes from the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Scriptural references, and reflection questions. For six weeks, groups meet once a week for 1 1/2 hours in the Rectory, Parish House, and parishionersí homes. Please contact Patricia Mikus (781-749-0587) or Donna Porter (Donnayp@verizon.net) for more information.
WOMENíS CATHOLIC BIBLE STUDY
Women who are interested in studying the Bible with a Catholic perspective are invited to join a Bible study that meets on Tuesday mornings in a private home. This Fall we will be studying James, using material written by Scott Hahn and Mark Shea, and produced by Catholic Scripture Study. For more information call Priscilla at 781-749-1218.
FAITH AND PHILANTHROPY SURVEY
The Advancement office of the Archdiocese is reaching out to many of you via email and mail requesting input on your faith and philanthropy through a brief 10-minute survey. Our goal is to have as many of you complete the survey as possible so you can help shape future advancement and communication plans for the Archdiocese and our parish. Your opinion matters!

The survey can be completed online at:
www.changingourworld.com/archofboston.
Thank you in advance for your participation.
